Alligator hunting in Florida takes place during the public waters harvest season which runs from August 15 through October 31 of the current year. The state of Florida sets regulations just like any other type of game. Alligators are hunted from one hour prior to sunset to one hour after sunrise, and they are captured with a harpoon, arrow, snatch hook or bait. The American Alligator is currently still a protected species, which makes the State regulations more stringent than other types of game. We have the experience necessary to make your hunt a success. Airboat and Gator Charters will outfit your hunt completely, and furnish all equipment needed to hunt your Alligator Trophy. We also offer processing of the meat and hide and taxidermy of your Gator.

Your Guide will be Captain Bruce Castle, a USCG licensed Master Captain with over 25 years of boating experience. Capt. Bruce has harvested hundreds of alligators during the public waters hunt and will assist you in harvesting yours. During the off season, we run Airboat tours all over central Florida, this also gives us a scouting advantage when the hunting season arrives.
